Hot Stones

Hot Stone Therapy is considered a new treatment, in fact, it has been around for thousands of years and used in India, China and North America, believing the stones cleansed the body, relaxed the heart and grounded the soul. 

 

The hot stones used for your treatment are Basalt stones created by volcanic activity or Himalayan Salt stones, which are slightly exfoliating and rich in minerals. 

 

The stones are heated to a specific temperature and used as part of your message or reflexology treatment. 

 

The heat of the stones can penetrate deep into the muscles, more so than massage alone, promoting blood and lymph flow, in turn stimulating a stronger release of toxin and waste products into the body.

It is advised to drink a few glasses of water and rest after your treatment.  You make experience a headache and lethargy but this should pass after you have rested.
